| The village on Flatholmen contains of two groups of houses "Utevik" and "Framme". The settling of the island started in the herring-period in the 1800th century. In 1930 there were more than 100 persons living here and Flatholmen was a municipal society. The smallest in Sweden. Flatholmen served as a model to the novel "The Rose of Tistelön" by Emilie Flygare-Carlen. |
