SKÄRHAMN |
Skärhamn is the main village at Tjörn. The name Skärhamn (skerry harbour) is based on the fact that the harbour is shelted by the archipelago. In Skärhamn you find guest harbour, restaurants and a lot of boutiques. Among others there is Margareta’s Boutique. If you want to spend a night you have Hotell Nordevik. Here you also find the local authority and the library. Among the sights there are Sjöfartsmuseum (Navigation museum), Smedja Volund (smithy) and The Nordic Watercolour Museum. Near the museum you can buy handicrafts from Tjörn. |
