On Mjörn you will find the old manor (private) Sundsby which go back to the 1500’th century It was here the famous donator Margareta Hvitfeldt lived in the 1700’th century. The present buildings are from the 1800’th century. A walking-tour in the forrest near the manor really is to be recommended. In the spring time you find a lot of blue anemoses and besides all the arts of birds you can hope to see  roe deers, badgers and foxes. There is a fine trail leading up to Solklinten (107 m above sea level), from where you have a beautiful view over Mjörn and Stigfjorden. The area is botanically interesting and the forrest contains of many various arts of trees, for instance beech, oak, and alder. In Sundsby Kile and the water east of Mjörn many birds are resting in the spring and in the autumn.
